LRTA lost to a comprehensive win by the HHTC team, despite fielding a strong team. It was a very rare occurrence where none of the matches went to 3 sets, but it’s fair to say that all the matches were considerably closer than the scores suggest, the key points nearly always ending up in the way of the leading player or pair. The one win for the LRTA came at the hands of treasurer Sarah Sullivan, who was in phenomenal form against Peta Louise Jeffery on the LRTA team, barely making a single mistake and getting superb weight into all her shots, which really gave Peta Louise no chance at all despite doing nothing wrong herself!
